This time, we wanted to create a pair of denim that, at first glance, looks basic, but when you put it on, the silhouette is different! It's amazing! We wanted to make such a pair of denim, like those from high-end brands or Levi's Red's first three-dimensional cut denim, and so it was completed.

This new denim is packed with many features, not overdone, but still well-designed.

The most distinctive feature is that the pants, which are usually constructed with front and back patterns, are made from a single piece for the front and back. The side seams are constructed with darts, and by bringing the tip of the dart near the knee, the side forms a natural loop, creating a soft, airy nuance.

Pants with looped sides are common in cut-and-sew items, but it's very rare to see them in denim.

Also, adding a gusset to the crotch makes it more three-dimensional and exceptionally comfortable. The delicate technique of adding a gusset to thick denim fabric is also a point we'd love for you to see!✨

The single dart in the waist not only adds to the design but also creates a soft, three-dimensional silhouette, similar to what you'd find when wearing high-quality cotton or wool pants, making the waist appear smaller and creating a very stylish look.

For details, we've added a buckle to the back, which is not only convenient for adjusting the waist but also gives it a classic feel. We've incorporated features found in old work pants and denim, such as the width of the belt loops and waistband.

The fading process strongly emphasizes a vintage feel, but we've achieved a unique fade that brings out the luxurious feel I envision.

The aim was to make it look vintage at first glance, but refined when worn.

The new black color is also thoroughly washed, but it's a very versatile item that can be worn with a cool image!✨ It's casual yet mature, so pairing it with a white T-shirt, a sweet blouse, or a shirt creates an elegant atmosphere. It also creates a great contrast in an all-black outfit, truly cool!

The fabric and sewing are, as always, of authentic construction.

11.2oz Okayama denim made from slub yarn blended with high-quality American cotton, rope-dyed with pure indigo.Because it is a regular ounce with a strong wash, it is not too stiff and has a comfortable softness.You can easily achieve the style of tucking your favorite wide-leg denim into boots.

Core thread is used for the stitching, allowing for a slight color change along with the fabric. The more you wear it, the more the thread will thin, increasing its vintage feel.
The sewing is carefully done at a factory specializing in denim pants in Kochi, using a Union Special chain stitch machine.

■Union Special sewing machine
It is the oldest and largest, highest-quality industrial sewing machine manufacturing company remaining in America.
Since the same models are no longer produced today, there are only a handful of Union Special machines still in existence in Japan.

■Union Special Hem Chain Stitch Machine
This sewing machine has a needle that protrudes diagonally from the body. As a result, the fabric is sewn while being pulled diagonally, creating a unique wavy effect.

■Rope Dyeing

Bundles of yarn (400-600 threads) are dyed by placing them in containers filled with indigo dye. Indigo dye oxidizes and turns blue when exposed to air.
This process is repeated many times to increase the concentration and achieve a vibrant indigo blue.

This rope dyeing method does not dye the core of the yarn completely, resulting in a white core. Only the outside of the yarn is dyed blue, and the core remains white, which allows for fading as it is worn, giving it the deep, rich texture unique to denim.
